Six months have passed since we posted the first writing tip. This week, we are
sending you a test covering many of the issues addressed in the twenty-five tips
you have received so far. See if you can find one error in each of the following
sentences. (The answers are below.)
TEST:
1. This past December, we sent out less greeting cards than we did in past years,
though each of them was imprinted with our traditional message, "Happy holidays
from the Williamses."

10. The committee plans to award the grant yearly to whoever needs it most, and
they chose my colleagues and I as the first recipients.
